Sadguru Sri Madhusudan Sai spearheads a unique global mission across 100 Countries. Since 2011, Sri Madhusudan Sai has established institutes of excellence in Education, Healthcare, Nutrition and Spirituality across the world. Everything done is done freely with absolutely no charge to the recipients.
Education:
There are 29 educational campuses, a medical school and a University in South India through the Sri Sathya Sai Loka Seva Gurukulam Group of Educational Institutions, and two institutions abroad (Nigeria and Australia). All are providing free values-based education to nearly 3,700 boys and girls who join the over 20,000 students who have received an education since 2017 . This includes a new medical school which trains doctors, nurses and allied healthcare professionals. To ensure accessibility and inclusivity, the institution also supports primary education of over 5,400 children from Government schools in India through the Bharath Rashtra Nirman Vidyaarthi Nidhi, a unique primary school scholarship initiative of Sadguru Sri Madhusudan Sai.
Sathya Sai Grama in Muddenahalli in Karnataka, near Bengaluru airport (South India), is the epicentre for all the global service activities. On that campus alone, a totally free 360-bedded multi-specialty hospital treats over 1,400 patients every day. It is also the teaching hospital for India’s first free medical college – the Sri Madhusudan Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research – which was inaugurated by the Honourable Prime Minister of India, Sri Narendra Modi on 25 March 2023. A new 500,000 square foot teaching hospital will be inaugurated in November of 2025.
Guided by the vision – IN THE RURAL, OF THE RURAL, FOR THE RURAL- this first-of-its kind medical college nurtures medical doctors, nurses and other health care professionals with ability, nobility, and stability who dedicate themselves to serving the underserved, particularly in rural parts of the world, wherever the need is greatest.
Healthcare:
Today, twelve speciality hospitals in India (five paediatric cardiac, and five mother and child hospitals, plus two multi-speciality hospitals), three hospitals abroad (Fiji, Sri Lanka, and Nigeria) as well as a medical centre in the Delta Region of the USA are providing free healthcare. Additionally, there are a number of telemedicine clinic and mobile clinics that take healthcare directly to rural village as well as outlying urban areas in India. Over 37,000 free paediatric cardiac surgeries have been done successfully through the Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Hospitals, the largest chain of child heart care centers in the world. In just one hospital located outside of Bangalore, over 1 million outpatient visit happened between October 2021 and April 2025. Since then, over 1400 patients are added to that total on a daily basis. However the key is never the numbers but rather the high quality of service provided at all locations.
Nutrition: 10 million children per day
The Annapoorna morning nutrition programme nourishes 10 million school-going children every day in India in 106,000 schools across 25 States, 4 Union Territories, and 5 countries.
Centers of Human Development: 11 Centers world wide
11 Centres for Human Development in 10 countries have also been established to work towards the welfare and well-being of all as one global family. Thus, several lives are being illumined by these benevolent acts of goodness every day.
AND all services in all areas are offered absolutely FREE of cost to all without any discrimination.
